Day 6 (Throughly exhausted)

Well, yesterday we got through the toys in the basement in the morning (we being the kids and me) while Mom and my husband worked on cleaning up his workshop (no small task). I took a load of clothes and toys to Once Upon a Child and made $31. Not bad. It's like having a garage sale but not having to post a sign and sit in your yard surrounded by your crap. I've got a few more things to take over today. The afternoon was spent in rest. Unfortunately, I think today is a day of rest. My muscles are all sore and achy and I don't want to trigger whatever disease has been lying dormant for the past few years. My left arm is the worst only because that's where the tetnis (I don't know how to spell it, nor do I care enough to find out) shot went. Mom took all the clothes I'm getting rid of, the kids clothes Once Upon a Child didn't want, and a box of stuff we'll never use with her to my hometown. We'll donate them to the Senior Citizen's when we get up there next week. My great aunt and her partner (I guess that's how you'd put it) run the Senior Citizen's Center which also runs a thrift store to help support it. Christmas is only two days away. I've bought everything I need to buy. Santa is set to bring something the boy will love and something the girl will love. You always worry when they keep changing their minds or start saying something that they really want after you've already bought them their presents. But I also know that every commercial on TV right now is what they want for Christmas so I figure anything I get them is going to be exactly what they wanted Christmas morning. Oh, tonight we'll be celebrating our anniversary, yeah!

Happy Belated Anniversary--we saw you on the road Saturday before Christmas but you didn't see us (sigh, no return wave, boohoo). Did you guys check out those lights over at Midland and east of Lindbergh? Awesome!

Merry Xmas, Happy New Year. Hope we get a chance to catch about family, fun and England soon.
