"I want a little brother."

A couple of months ago, Lady Jane got horribly upset at school. Her friend Sydney was going to be a big sister because her mommy just had a little brother. Lady Jane wasn't happy being a "little" sister and having a "big" brother. She wanted to be a big sister too. So tonight at our friends' house for dinner, my observant little man figured out that our hostess was pregnant with a baby boy. And as we were leaving he mentioned it in front of Lady Jane that our hostess' daughter was going to have a little brother. Oh, the mortification that another of her friends was going to be a big sister and she was stuck as a little sister. Mommy and Daddy are done having babies and are quite happy with the two beautiful children they have. Though we would love to give our children the world, we are unwilling to bend on this particular request.
