My Boyfriend’s Back

Okay so he’s my husband but I guess it wouldn’t have been such a catchy tune. He’s spent the last week at a conference in Toulouse, France followed by a couple of days in Nottingham, England. I’m not jealous. Step back if you don’t want to get hit by lightning. No, we still know nothing in regards to a move to England. While he was overseas, my mom came down to help with the kids. It was a pretty easy week with her here to help. I think she was trying to make us all fat. She baked a lot. She also brought down some genealogy research my uncle had done a long time ago. Interesting stuff.

Friday was my friend at work’s last day. I was pretty bummed about it since we complemented each other very well when working. And fortunately when we were starting to get on each other’s nerve we would be at different clients for a while. I’m happy she’s found something that she feels will be better for her. At the same time, it really sucks. I’m going to miss her and my job won’t be the same without her. The other guys I work with are okay, but I can only work with the one so long before he aggravates me. I’m sure the feeling is mutual. Regardless we will see how long before my nerves are shot.
