Day 1 of Unemployment (Updated)
Of course, it's voluntary so it's really temporarily left the work force, but that's not as catchy. So the plan for today. We have our EAP meeting this morning with my husband's work. Then I have an ultra fun doctor's appointment this afternoon. By the time Lady Jane and I get home it will be time for Little Man to come home from school. So I'll start him on homework and start some laundry. Sorting toys is the objective of this afternoon and most days. We have tons of toys so it will take a while. I also need to find time to clean the bathrooms. I'll let you know later how it goes. Oh I called Goodwill this morning to find out where I can drop off stuff and found out they don't make house calls anymore. Bummer.
Lady Jane kept saying she didn't feel well yesterday. So I gave her cold medicine in the morning. She did fine during the meeting and started to crash around lunch time. When we got home she watched a movie. We had to skip the doctor's appointment. I got a little laundry done and a little put away. The bathrooms, by the way, are very low on my list of objectives. Lady Jane got a fever in the evening and was asleep when dinner started. After giving her motrin, she felt fine and went to bed at her normal bedtime.
