She Gave Me Fever
It doesn't quite have the same ring to it, but it's true. So I'm hoarse and my low grade fever has changed to an actual fever. Woohoo. I called the doctor's office and they may be able to get me in tomorrow, but definitely on Friday. My eyes are so hot my tears are boiling over. Really they're just running and burning, but it's so much more of a visual when stated like that. And don't get me started on the ripping and tearing sensation every time I cough. I have to go pick up Little Man from a friend's soon. Blech!
Sorry for the whiny weepy post. I promise to have better news at some point.

I hope you feel better soon - get well before you come back. Having been afflicted with an upper respiratory virus while taking a 17-hour flight non-stop with an active toddler, I speak from experience. If you have to fly while sick, bring lots of Tylenol for yourself. It's good your kids are old enough to have their own seats and to listen to both you and Phil - Ragsy refused to sit on anyone but me during our flight home from India and I was in tears by the flight into St. Louis. (What? I was sick!)
I hope you feel better soon. Almost everyone I know is sick right now - myself included, though I'm lucky enough to be treated to extensive bouts of diarrhea and near barfing (hasn't had it yet, though I'm not ruling it out), along with requisite chill and sweats instead of coughing and fiery tears. I'm at work because I have a meeting with senior staff about a major client project that I have to make.
